CHINA CRISIS LIVE IN MANILA Part 2!!!

English new wave duo China Crisis will be back in Manila!

They came here in Manila last 2002 for a one time concert only but here they are again, back to our new wave loving country!

After the successful concert of Tears for Fears last May, this would be a great follow up for all kids of the 80's.

Consists of vocalist/ keyboardist Gary Daly and vocalist/guitarist Eddie Lundon, the band, hailing from Liverpool, Merseyside was one of the successful bands in the 80's. They were able to release 6 albums and generate hits like "Black man Ray" "African and White" "King in a Catholic Style" and "Wishful Thinking"

The venues would be at Eastwood Mall Open Park on January 21, 7pm and at the Venice Piazza at McKinley Hill on January 22, 8pm.

After the Lotus Eaters concert almost 8 years ago, they were the next new wave act who opened the gates for more 80's bands to visit Manila like Gene Love Jezebel, A Flock of Seagulls, Duran Duran, and Tears for Fears.

I was not able to watch them last time but I am sure that I won't let this pass. And the greatest part is that the concert is absolutely free! This is courtesy of Eastwood Mall!!!

I am sure this concert would serve a great flashback down the memory lane and would be a joyful evening to remember!

Check out their video, Wishful Thinking:

Update:

And their live performance in our local noon time show, Eat Bulaga last January 20, 2011:
