Vertical Horizon and Ed Kowalczyk Live in Manila

Image
Vertical Horizon and Ed Kowalczyk Live in Manila 1) I want to want to watch the concert because both bands were a big part of my rocking high school and college music. I also do have their cassettes and CD record albums. I haven't seen both  bands and it would be the best birthday gift ever if I will be able to watch them live, its like high school and college life again in 3 hours! :D 2) Ed Kowalczyk's Lakini's Juice (Live) 3) This song is not your unusual Live song or single. It has a very sinister feel, strong approach and deep message about an obsession for a love one. The Cranberries - Live in Manila

Boys and girls, are you ready for a rocking night with The Cranberries? Back in High School, when the single ‘Linger’ came out, it was one of the songs that I liked to play on guitars and had some high school girl friends sing it. We had joked about changing the lyrics “Do you have to use your finger?” haha. But when the song “Dreams” came out, it was a different feeling. That song has convinced me to purchase their cassette album.  I remember that the album was reissued because it failed to chart good in the Billboard. The second release of “Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?”  was a commercial success. This stamped the Cranberries as the next big Irish rock band next to U2. The guitar delays somewhat translate to the Edge’s guitar playing. Then came the hard pounding heavy tuned song “Zombie” from their second album “No

OMD live in Manila - Concert Review

What a intimate nostalgic night to party! Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark didn't fail to connect to their loyal fans here in Manila last March 12, 2012 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.  Attendees I saw were Buwi Meneses, and the rest of Parokya ni Edgar, Mon Castro of Pin up Girls, Gloc 9, Jay Manalo and Julia Clarete. Also the event served as a reunion party for High school and college mates from the 80s or early 90s. I also saw parents with their kids watching the show. Opening for OMD were local rock electronica duo of Turbo Goth. I was not able to start their set but was able to watch their last two songs. They lived up my expectations being one of the new artists in Manila to watch out for. I already saw them almost 3 years ago and they were able to release new stuff recently. Vocalist Sarah Gaugler, was donning  angel wings vs her black dress. OMD did the right mix for their set list, including obscure or new songs and of course their top 10 hits in an alternat
