IF NOT NOW, IT WILL BE JULY 28!!! INCUBUS LIVE IN MANILA PART 3!!!

One of the most successful bands in the late nineties is back for the third time! Incubus live in Manila, happening on July 28, 2011 at Araneta Coliseum. 



As far as I can remember, Incubus was the first band who braved all the Abu Sayaf abductions, bus bombings and US Embassy Travel Advisory last 2004 and successfully conducted their concert in Philippine shores. That opened the gates and paved the way for other acts like Linkin Park, Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan to follow suit and have concerts here in Manila. I can't forget having goosebumps when I've heard the guitar intro for "Megalomaniac" their first song from the 2004 concert. I think they sang 18+ songs then and tagged the concert as "sulit at panalo!" I was also amazed that the band executed their songs well like you were listening to their LP in a music player! Plakado!!!

They went back last March 2008 and played at Araneta Coliseum. The venue was jam packed. And of course, it was sold out and my ears bled because of all the girls screaming at my back. 

And now, for the 3rd time plus supporting their new album, "If Not Now, When?," they will bring the house down and supply us with new songs and fascinate us again with their classic tunes.

Concert Recall: Lotus Eaters Live in Manila August 3, 2002 Rockwell Club Tent. Being gulity on not attending the following concerts here in Manila: Rage Against the Machine, Pearl Jam, Cranberries, Beastie Boys, Sonic Youth and Foo Fighters, I need to start my blood thirst concert viewing ASAP! One of those memorable concerts that I attended to was the concert of the 80's new wave band: The Lotus Eaters. Deftones - To Have and to Hold

It is destined to be... ...Like Nostradamus foreseeing the future of rock concert scene in Singapore and Manila!  After seeing their tour list on their website last October that Deftones will have an Australian tour and Perth is the last city in February 2011, it was strategically correct that there is a big chance that they are going to push for an Asian tour. I posted on twitter and FB that “I smell Deftones live in Manila in February 2011!” I have suggested the possibility of bringing Deftones here in Manila to few organizers and one of them answered my prayers: Splintr.com, the same group who bravely brought the 90’s Premiere Industrial Rock Band Nine Inch Nails here in Manila. Bringing Deftones to Manila is the biggest follow up concert indeed from NIN.  And LAMC Productions will also bring Deftones in Singapore on February 16, 2011.
