It is destined to be... ...Like Nostradamus foreseeing the future of rock concert scene in Singapore and Manila!  After seeing their tour list on their website last October that Deftones will have an Australian tour and Perth is the last city in February 2011, it was strategically correct that there is a big chance that they are going to push for an Asian tour. I posted on twitter and FB that “I smell Deftones live in Manila in February 2011!” I have suggested the possibility of bringing Deftones here in Manila to few organizers and one of them answered my prayers: Splintr.com, the same group who bravely brought the 90’s Premiere Industrial Rock Band Nine Inch Nails here in Manila. Bringing Deftones to Manila is the biggest follow up concert indeed from NIN.  And LAMC Productions will also bring Deftones in Singapore on February 16, 2011. Rest In Peace Chi! Chi Cheng (July 15, 1970 – April 13, 2013)

Chi Cheng   (July 15, 1970 – April 13, 2013) Deftones founding member and bassist Chi Cheng passed away last April 13, 2013. A statement was posted on oneloveforchi.com which stated that Chi had died. The statement read: "Our dearest Family, This is the hardest thing to write to you. Your love and heart and devotion to Chi was unconditional and amazing. I know that you will always remember him as a giant of a man on stage with a heart for every one of you. He was taken to the emegency room and at 3 am today his heart just suddenly stopped. He left this world with me singing songs he liked in his ear. He fought the good fight.You stood by him sending love daily. He knew that he was very loved and never alone. I will write more later. The Resurrection: The Stone Roses Live in Singapore & Hong Kong!!!

The Stone Roses: Alan 'Reni' Wren, Gary 'Mani' Mounfield, Ian Brown and John Squire. When I first heard the news last year ( 18 October 2011)  that the Stone Roses has reunited, I was so very happy that Ian Brown and John Squire already settled their differences for freaking 15 years of not talking to each other. And when the news came out last April that the Stone Roses will be having a world tour plus Hong Kong and Singapore are part of the list, that great news really made me cry!
